Guitar Praise™ - Solid Rock
Grab the guitar and play along with top Christian bands! Shred those riffs or blast the bass…
you add a unique sound to the solid Christian rock. But watch out: if you can't keep up, the
artists will take a break and stop the music. Crank it up and try again - you'll soon be rockin'
with the best while praising the Lord!
Key Features:
• Features hit songs from popular Christian rock bands - (see list below).
• Includes wireless USB guitar controller.
• Two guitars can be connected at the same time, so two guitarists can play together - either
on the same track or one on lead, the other on bass.
• Players press the fret buttons and strum on the strum bar in time to the color-coded
notes as they scroll onscreen.
• Offers over 50 songs with 4 levels of play per song - from easy to expert.
Beginners start slowly, but soon their fingers will be flying - just like a real guitarist.
• Onscreen lyrics reflect Christian values. Vocalists can sing their hearts out as their
friends play the guitar.
• Record keeping lets players store high scores per song and unlock new songs in sets
of six as they progress through the game and post their scores online.
• Players can also earn new guitars with richer sounds and different effects.
Works on Windows and Mac computers.

great game, but should be oriented towards teens, not their parents

this is a great game--similar enough to guitar hero to make it just as fun, yet clean enough to be able to play without wincing or turning down the volume. The one problem--it needs more/better ROCK MUSIC.
Because although many parents would be ecstatic to have their kids listening to classic bands like Bride, Whitecross or Petra, or soft bands like Caedman's Call, Paul Baloche or Josh Bates, we all know that most "kids these days" are not satisfied with the same stuff older people are. For example: most teenagers /cannot/ relate to the "Backslidin' Blues", let alone be a "Shredding Machine" while playing it. (Although my sister tries to jump around and headbang to that song, it really just...doesn't work.)
But there is some really good music out there from bands that exist to glorify God and let the world know about Him. And although the lyrics might not be as simple as "Praise God", and the music might be a bit louder, a lot of teenagers can relate to and find God in music like this:
SKILLET (Collide, Comatose, Whispers in the Dark, Awake and Alive, Hero, My Obsession, Better Than Drugs) FLYLEAF (Penholder, Ocean Waves, I'm Sorry, Breathe Today, Chasm, Fully Alive, Much Like Falling, All Around Me, Again, Beautiful Bride, Swept Away) SWITCHFOOT (Awakening, Dare You to Move, Your Love is a Song, The Sound, Meant to Live) UNDEROATH (Some Will Seek Forgiveness Others Escape, In Regards to Myself, To Whom it May Concern, Too Bright to See, Too Loud to Hear) THOUSAND FOOT KRUTCH (Absolute, Falls Apart, E for Extinction, Slow Bleed) PILLAR (Frontline, Turn it Up) DISCIPLE (Shine Down, After the World), POD (Youth of the Nation, Alive, Satellite) or even HASTE THE DAY, RED, NORMA JEAN, PROJECT 86, DECYFER DOWN, AS I LAY DYING or EMERY. ;)

This is a great game but the creators should have a section to take requests/suggestions...for instance, they have solid rock which has some rock but mostly contemporary christian music...nothing wrong with that...and all the songs were pretty big hits when they first came out but it would be nice to see the chance to provide consumer input. i for instance would like to see the game expand to support various game consoles (ps3, xbox, wii, etc.) and also provide various packages for different genres of music...i am hoping to see an update providing more metal oriented music, such as Demon Hunter, Underoath, and some of the harder skillet songs and such. also more advertising would be good and would most likely attract more publicity and a bigger audience...the only place ive seen this game is online and very few christian bookstores and i know there are more people out there that would love to have a game like this but just dont know it even exists. I was the same way untill i was introduced to the game and when i found it i was more than excited, but i also know that the production of the game takes more work than most of us might know and cant expect everything we ask of the creators.

I have not purchased this product but it looks great. I have 3 children and would love to see this expanded to Wii game console.

It´s just great! I have waited a whole month and now I finally have it...
It´s cool but still needs work, like songs of Falling Up, Hillsongs United, more Relient K, Skillet (Album Awake), more Nevertheless, Philmont, Run Kid Run, Pillar (Album For the Love of the Game, Fireproof, Confessions), more Red.
I read somewhere that Digital Praise was going to complete Guitar Praise with Drums and Vocals, could this be true?
